Cliff Singer MD, DLFAPA, AGSF is a psychiatrist and geriatrician who came to Northern Light Acadia Hospital in 2010 after many years on the psychiatry and neurology faculties at Oregon Health and Science University and the University of Vermont. He is the Director of Memory and Aging at Northern Light Acadia Hospital and Research Professor at the University of Maine. He leads a multidisciplinary team at Acadia’s Mood and Memory Clinic and the Robert C. Strauss Neurocognitive Research Program, which is the largest Alzheimer’s disease clinical trials program in Maine. Dr. Singer has been named to “Best Doctors in America” list by peers every year since 2004, and has received numerous awards for research, teaching and clinical work with older adults in both Oregon and Maine.
