Cynthia McDaniel MSN RN is the founder and CEO of NurseLearn. She has been consulting in the field of elder care and assisted living for more than 30 years.
Grounded in her experience in the field, Cynthia has been involved in developing RN delegation, actively participating in regulation development since the inception of the practice. She was an assistant professor at Oregon Health & Science University School of Nursing, where she developed and led online population-based nursing courses, and she has authored and published multiple online courses related to community-based care.
Cynthia holds a Master of Science in Nursing from Gonzaga University. She is a Fellow of the Sigma Theta Tau/John A. Hartford Foundation Geriatric Nursing Leadership Academy. Today, Cynthia continues to use her community-based care expertise to present and train on a variety of subjects, both locally and nationally.
Cynthia’s experience in the field led her to this simple conclusion that prompted the creation of NurseLearn: Nurses in community-based settings benefit from additional support to thrive in their roles.
